Bursary - Objects Conservator National Conservation Centre, Liverpool Salary UKP18,287 pa Fixed Term Contract 5 months Ref: 2008/027 Thanks to generous funding from the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies, the National Conservation Centre is pleased to offer a bursary to provide work-based development opportunities to a recent graduate of a recognised conservation programme. The successful applicant will develop their conservation skills and knowledge by working with ceramics, metals and organics collections, focussing on ancient Egyptian materials. They will report to senior conservators from whom they will receive mentoring and guidance. You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, be able to work efficiently to deadlines to a consistently high standard and be enthusiastic and committed to developing your skills.
