In short, not all nitrile gloves are created equal. Some are manufactured with a polymer coating, while some are manufactured via a process of chlorination and subsequent sulfur reduction. Depending on the manufacturer, the chlorinated gloves proved problematic due to residual sulfur from the reduction phase of manufacturing. I haven't done any further research into this, but hopefully this information will prove helpful.
