Applications are invited for a temporary maternity Leave cover post
of Paper Conservator in the Conservation Department at Trinity
College Library.

The successful candidate will be expected to play a role in the
department's preservation and conservation activities, and will be
encouraged to develop her/his professional career through research
and publication. Work tasks include collection surveys,
documentation and conservation of paper-based items in the Library
collections, as well as the supervision of preservation assistants
and visiting interns and students. The candidate may also
participate in the preparation and presentation of in-house courses
on preservation and conservation topics for Library staff.

Applicants for this position must be graduates of conservation
programmes and have at least two years experience in the field of
paper conservation. This is a temporary position.
