VACANCY AT THE BRITISH LIBRARY Team Leader, Conservation, Parliamentary Archives The British Library House of Lords, London Full-time, fixed term contract until 31 March 2011 UKP27,978-UKP33,648 You will manage the provision of conservation services to the Parliamentary Archives. This role also requires liaison between the Parliamentary Archive and the British Library, including timely and accurate progress reporting on the conservation and preservation programmes. You will be an experienced conservator with a wide knowledge of conservation and preservation and with a specialisation in book and/or archive conservation and with experience of loans and exhibitions programmes. Managing a small team of conservators, you will lead them through a period of change resulting from the review of services. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced conservator to work for one of the largest research libraries in the world, running a small unit providing vital services for the care of the archive collections at the heart of the nation's Parliament.
