Assistant Paintings Conservator Tudor Research Project National Portrait Gallery, London Part-time (3 days per week) on a 6 month fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. Pro-rata UKP20,660 per annum We are looking for an individual to support the Senior Paintings Conservator on the 'Making Art in Tudor Britain' survey project. The project is to undertake scientific research on the Gallery's paintings in the period 1500-1550. Applicants should have a post-graduate qualification in painting conservation and experience in microscopic analysis, data management and photography is essential.
