Subject: Talk on X-ray imaging of van Gogh painting
"A hidden van Gogh image revealed" IIC Annual Talk 2009 The 2009 IIC Annual General Meeting will be followed by the customary Talk, open to all who are interested. This year we are hosting a presentation Dr Joris Dik, a materials scientist and art historian at the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands, who will be talking on a Van Gogh image he has uncovered, through x-ray imaging, which the artist had painted over. We think you will agree that this will make for a most interesting event. The talk will be presented in the Clore Auditorium at Tate Britain, Millbank, London SW1, on Friday 30 January 2009 at 6:15 pm. The preceding IIC Annual General Meeting starts at 5:30 pm in the Clore Auditorium.
