Subject: Call for papers--JAIC special issue
Call for Papers for a Journal of the American Institute for Conservation Special Issue Focusing on the Influence of Sheldon and Caroline K. Keck on the Field of Conservation Sheldon and Caroline K. Keck were influential figures in the history of art preservation. Their legacy is broad and complex and it continues to affect the ways in which conservation is taught and practiced. It is for these reasons that we wish to organize a special issue of the JAIC acknowledging their contributions to the field of conservation. As organizers for this issue of the Journal, we welcome both full-length articles and shorter notes on any of the aspects of the conservation field that the Kecks helped to develop and promote. Critical reviews, research studies, and case studies that examine the treatment process are examples of the types of submissions that would be welcomed. Author guidelines for JAIC manuscripts and special issues can be found on the AIC website at <URL:http://aic.stanford.edu/library/online/index.html> Please note that all papers submitted for the Journal must go through the normal review procedure. If you are interested in writing an article or suggesting names of others who might, or if you have a question about the process, please contact either of us at the following email addresses by July 1, 2009 Rebecca Rushfield <wittert<-at->juno<.>com> Jean D.
