• Terry Ann Carlson is the new Library Conservator for the Minnesota Historical Society in St. Paul.
• John C. Williams, Research Officer of the Library of Congress Preservation Office, retired February 27. His place is being filled temporarily by LC Chemist George B. Kelly.
• Donald Bruce McKeon (pronounced McKew'en) has resigned his position as Conservator for Dobbs Brothers bindery in St. Augustine, Florida, to complete work on his Ph.D. in Library Science at Florida State University. His address is Rt. 8, Box 416E5, St. Augustine, FL 32084.
• Scott Kellar's new business name and address are:

• Marie-Daniele Zartnan recently moved from Brooklyn, New York, to 713 Quaint Acres, Silver Spring MD 20904 (301-622-5151). The announcement she submitted reads as follows:

  Bookbinder, trained in France in both modern art binding and restoration of antique books. Worked for seven years in New York restoring and *preserving rare book collections in major universities and public libraries, and did restoration work in Egypt. Was moved to the Washington area and is looking for similar work, preferably in preservation (cleaning, dressing and repairing) and restoration of rare book collections. References on request.

• Peter Sparks has been appointed Chief of the Preservation Office of the Library of Congress, effective February 17, 1981. Dr. Sparks will bring broad conservation and administrative experience to the job. We succeeds Don Wisdom, who held the post on a temporary appointment while the search went on, and before him, Norman Shaffer, who became Chief of the Library's Photoduplication Service in January 1980.
