- Any information about the 1890's bookbinder Sarah Prideaux will
be gratefully received by David Harries, 18 Market Square, Horsham,
Sussex, England, who is researching her life and work, He is
particularly keen to trace examples of her work, which she signed on
the lower turn-in with her initials "SIP" and the date. (from the
March DB Newsletter)
- Susan Swartzburg submitted a quote discovered in one of the
Rutgers University Library gift books. She says, "We did a little
digging and eliminated Alex Vaughan and Sarah Prideau's Modern
Bookbindings, but now that we are swamped, we can go no
further, It's early 20th century. Can you or a reader identify it?
We rather like it here at RUL."
