• Caroline A. Graboys, of Brookline, Massachusetts, has been certified by examination as a conservator of historic and artistic works on paper, by the AIC Board of Examiners.
• Antoinette King has been appointed Director of Conservation for the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
• Nathan Stolow has been appointed Foundation Conservator at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation as of May 1, and his new address is: Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, P.O. Drawer C, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
• Abigail Quandt, who has been studying and working with Anthony Cams and Roger Powell during the last two years, began work at the Walters Art Gallery in Baltimore May 1 on a three-month contract.
• Johanna Wellheiser, formerly Conservator for the City of Toronto Records and Archives Division, has been appointed Conservator for the Metropolitan Toronto Library Board.
• Robert Muma was granted, on April 29, a life membership in the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild "for his nurturing of a then very fragile craft through a very low time twenty-odd years ago."
• Donald Glaister and Suzanne Moore, according to the GBW Newsletter for Spring 1984, were to relocate from California to Northampton, Massachusetts, around May 1.
• Elaine Schlefer was appointed on April 30 as book conservator in the Conservation Binding and Restoration Office at NYPL's Conservation Division. She comes with several years' experience, including three years as chief binder at Carolyn Horton and Associates. This gives a staff of nine (8 plus John Townsend, head of the unit) in that office.
• Karen Garlick began work as a paper conservator at the Library of Congress in February, 1984.
• Griselda Warr, formerly of the Morgan Library, recently took a position as book conservator at the Huntington Library in California.
• Doris Hamburg and Theodore Stanley, both of the Library of Congress, were both recently promoted to Paper Conservator, GS-ll.
