- Mr. Ed Landon, RD1, Lawrence Hill Rd., Weston, VT 05161, wrote
in late July that he is selling a gold stamper (no make or model
mentioned), with a 2" x 5" type holder and a spare heating element.
He is asking $500.00 plus shipping.

- Scott Keller sent a follow-up to his note in the July '84 AN. He writes that
Hamilton Adams Imports, P.O. Box 2489, Secaucus, NJ 17094, is
the source for the linens offered by Canvas Specialties, and
offers the same linens at up to 40% less, but with minimum orders
between 25 and 50 yards, depending on the material. Samples from
Hamilton Adams are free. Good heavy weight linens are 02038,
#2088, and #2326; Croydon (#2440) is the name for the lighter weight
"airplane" linen.
- Margaret Johnson, who has been in Spain, sent the following

- Vereinigte Güppinger-Bamberger Kaliko BmbH, Postfach 2769,
Mussstrasse 1-13, 8600 Bamberg, West Germany, manufactures
paper-supported bookcloths, in 100% rayon, 100% cotton, and mixtures
of cotton, linen, and rayon. Their Rohhalbleinen 402 (42% cotton,
41% linen, 17% rayon) may be familiar to many as the cloth marketed
here as Cotlin.
- Colophon Hand Bookbindery, 1902 North 44th Street, Seattle WA
98103 (206/633-1759), now carries the paper- supported bookcloths
from Bamberger Kaliko GmbH in Bamberg, West Germany. They will honor
orders for as little as a single yard per color. They will provide a
swatch book for $2.00.
- One of the oldest and one of the few remaining parchment makers
in England is William Cowley Parchment Works, Newport Pagnell,
Bucks., England MK16 0DB, established in 1870. They offer sheepskin
parchments, as wall as calfskin and goatskin vellums, and will
provide samples and a price list by addressing a request to Mr. J.
Visscher, Manager. They are happy to supply skins of the desired
thickness and color, and will provide special finishes for repair
work.
- The Harcourt Bindery, 9 & 11 Harcourt St., Boston,
Massachusetts 02116 continues to stock antiqued and regular calf and
goat vellums for immediate shipment.
- Process Materials Corporation, 301 Veterans Blvd., Rutherford,
NJ 07070 (201/935-2900), has announced the manufacture of their
Archivart Supreme binder's board in 60 pt. and 80 pt. calipers, in
addition to the 100 pt. caliper. They have recently put out a new
catalogue of their Archivart Products for Conservation and
Restoration.
