Notice To Serials Departments:

This is a NEWSPAPER, designed for immediate reading by staff working in preservation and conservation. If you are sending the Abbey Newsletter to the stacks or piling it up in Bindery Prep instead of circulating it promptly to the people who need it, you are doing both then and the library preservation program a disservice. They need it right away so they can a) apply for travel funds for professional conferences, b) order publications and supplies while they are still available, c) read the news while it is still relevant, and d) apply for jobs in the "Positions Open" section if they want to, before they close.
