AUTHOR INFORMATION

REN�E DANCAUSE graduated with distinction from the University of Alberta with a B.Sc. in home economics. Her background is in clothing and textiles, with a specialty in the conservation of historic textiles. Dancause worked as a volunteer and as a contractor in several museums in Alberta, Ontario, and Qu�bec before being awarded a textile fellowship in the Canadian Conservation Institute (CCI) Textile Laboratory in 1994.
