FRANKE, Diplomchemiker, Dr. rerum naturalium, is a retired professor of mineralogy at Freie Universit�t in Berlin, Germany, where he studied chemistry and mineralogy and has worked since 1965 in the field of experimental mineralogy with special interest in crystal dissolution, crystal growth, and morphology. He still gives regular lectures on interdisciplinary topics.
