Resource File Update

The WAAC board has approved the expenditure to produce a new version of the best-selling WAAC Resource File. In collaboration with the Conservation Information Network and the Getty Conservation Institute, we have already begun to generate the new card set.

The response to the Resource File questionnaire, mailed in March, was outstanding. 77 of the 87 respondents indicated that they would be willing to purchase the file-card set. The returned questionnaires included 97 new suppliers to be used in the update. The cards will be in the original 3 x 5 inch format, as overwhelmingly proclaimed at the Yosemite annual meeting.

It is not too late to contribute new sources, materials, or suppliers for the forthcoming update! Contact any of the committee members listed below.

With the very generous help of CIN and the Getty, the responses from our membership, and the work of the Resource File committee, chaired by Tatyana Thompson, we hope to issue the updated File on time for the Annual Meeting in Honolulu.
