I have recently upgraded to the Aardvark Direct Pro LX, very nice. Quiet,
does 24/96. There is also a more expensive model with mic inputs if you need
such a feature.

The Digital Audio Labs CardD Deluxe is also recommended by many.

http://www.pcavtech.com/ is a site you might be interested in. Reports on a
number of sound cards.
