Subject: arsclist Auto-responder SPAM to the ARSC list...
I don't know about the rest of the listmembers, but I would like to nominate
Donna Sereda <djsereda@xxxxxxxxxxxx>
For her "ad nauseum" repeating message, namely:
"I'm away from the office until June 17 and will reply to your message at that
time."
as the most inconsiderate person on the list for this year. I'm sure there
couldn't be anyone to top her performance for the balance of the year, so let's
get this over with NOW.
In placing her mailbox on AUTO-RESPOND, she created a mail loop, much like a
dog chasing its' tail, and it produced an auto-response for EVERY mail to the
list that the list sent out, as well as another for each of the auto responses
that her "idiot box" sent back to the list! All of these got sent to EVERYONE
on the ARSC list.
Do I sound annoyed?
YOU BET I AM.
I spent time, that could just as well be spent on other more worthy projects,
to find and contact the appropriate responsible people at the ISP of this
person (wisc.edu), and to get them to shut off the flow of SPAM from her
computer. Without it, we all would have been deluged by this !@!@!#%$%^ until
June 17th!
Congratulations Donna, you are a winner. We're having a bronze plaque engraved
as I write this.
