Re: arsclist 19-3/4" Path Records ??
The groove width is VERY WIDE and shallow making them difficult to track at
the 120 rpm. they were recorded at. They weigh a bunch, that's a huge chunk
of shellac. They were all dubs. Pathe recorded on cylinder masters.
You might also ask why make such a large record? Not to play long, they
don't play that much longer than an ordinary 78. They were intended for
public venues where volume was needed to be heard.
I see this one is in South America. I hope the seller packs it well.
