For those of you who get Joslin's Jazz Journal (the most recent is
Vol..22, No.1 - Feb. 2003) there is a picture of a 1949 Elliot Lawrence
Band theatre marquee from the NY Paramount Theatre on the front page
which I couldn't help fiddling with. Taught me a lot about Photoshop in
the bargain.
Ty Settelmier kindly put it up for your edification (thanks, Ty!) and
laughs.
