I can't put my hands on it but I'm pretty sure there was discussion of this in the "Cylinder" issue of the ARSC Journal published a few years ago - and one of the most requested issues of the Journal.
Tim Brooks did a lot of research into the Columbias for his first volume of the Columbia Discography.
And there have been been papers on the Indestructible Phono company at past ARSC Conferences - which should be available on tape. (Why do I think Tim Fabrizio did one years ago? Maybe I'm wrong.)
Are you doing this as private research or through an institution? You provided no name so I can't tell where you are located.
