Very interesting description. Although the 1940 ASCAP concert in New
York does not survive, a series of ASCAP concerts held at Carnegie Hall
in the first week of October 1939, featuring many of the same
performers, is in the collection at LOC (you can find them in the SONIC
database using the keyword ASCAP). In addition, two ASCAP radio programs
from early 1941 are in the collection too, again with many of the
featured performers from the 1940 San Francisco concerts.
