My problem is that the built-in speaker in my computer provides a "complete
lack of deep bass" to begin with! In fact, the Harmony acoustics are among
the best of their breed...which is why I always thought...and have since
found out others do as well...that Columbia upgraded their acoustic setup
in 1924 and was reluctant to discard it completely when electric recording
came in a year later. In fact, I used to listen to Harmonys using a 10-band
equalized and could make them sound almost electric!

I think it was based on the title of the piece...which was intended to be
more descriptive than insulting!
