Are you aware of the myriads of of master
recordings made by the Ministry Of Propaganda of the Facist period?
They're at our U.S. National Archives. The recordings' contents are not
limited to political propaganda. They include subjects pertaining to
Italian culture, history, et. al. The holdings include postive and
negative metal parts. The sleeves are meticulously annotated with
technical information.
One gem is Marconi speaking in 1932 about his early
work in radio.
