Various comments have been posted about this on 78-L, but I'm still looking...
here's my software "want":-
Recently I bought an iRiver H-10 mp3 player... a really neat little box, but
that is a story all of it's own.
Acquiring mp3 files from all over, I find a lot of problems with them running
the gamut from too much "dead air" at the start, to appended "junk" at the end
to missing or incomplete tag information.
I would like to find a simple (cheap or free) piece of software that would let
me load an mp3 or wma or maybe even any of the other common compressed audio
file formats, and let me edit the head and tail of the file AND edit all the
tag information.
Yes, I've got software that will do these things, but not all in one, and they
are a pain to manipulate just for the above tasks.
Any ideas or suggestions would be a help.
