[ARSCLIST] ARSC Fall Newsletter deadline

Fellow ARSC Members,

The deadline to submit articles for the upcoming ARSC Newsletter is next 
Monday, October 10th. I have a bit of flexibility this time, so if you 
want to contribute something but can't have it ready by the 10th, please 
contact me by the 10th and we'll work something out.

If you have a submission, please email it to me as an attachment. This 
could include:  upcoming events of interest to ARSC members; news on 
recent projects, acquisitions, or grants received; requests for research 
assistance from other ARSC members; reports from ARSC committees and 
local chapters; news about your company; or other news that may be of 
interest to ARSC members. Feel free to contact me if you have ideas or 
questions.

I'd also be interested in any reports on archives, collections, or 
collectors affected by Hurricane Katrina. While many affected people 
have more pressing concerns right now, if anybody thinks they could 
compile some information for the newsletter, please contact me off list.

If you would like to advertise goods or services in the newsletter or 
place a classified ad, please contact advertising manager Martin Fisher 
(nipper@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx) as soon as possible.
