Re: [ARSCLIST] CDR Serial Number

I started to associate the CDR serial number with our catalogue entry for

There's an alternate way of reading the serial number on the Cd to

The software we use for mastering (Feurio) does not seem to be able to

I am afraid I am quite confused by your post. The serial number printed
in the clear central area of some discs is recorded only there, not in a
form readable by the drive. You assert that there is "an alternate way
of reading the serial number", but I am not aware of such.
There is another code written to the disc by the operating system when
the disc is burned, but that is not correlated with the printed serial
number. It would not be useful to make such a correlation since a
duplicator will apply the same OS-generated code when burning a disc
with a different printed code.
Perhaps I misunderstand what you are asking; if so, please forgive my
confusion.
