Re: [ARSCLIST] Sound card recommendations

Hello Jeppe,

Not sure if you're specifically interested in sound cards or stand-alone converters so here's a short list of both that you may want to look into:

SOUND CARDS:
*	Lynx-One, Lynx-2, Lynx AES16-XLR card
*	Marian
*	RME Multiface
*	Digital Audio Labs CardDeluxe
*	EMU-1820m (with built-in turntable preamp)

A-D/D-A/D-D CONVERTERS:
*	Pacific Microsonics
*	Berhinger ADA8000
*	Digital Audio Denmark AD/DA 2402
*	Weiss
*	EMM Labs - Meitner
*	DCS 972/974

Cost and availability is relative so please use your own judgment and discretion.

All best from freezing rainy Ottawa,
Jonathan

Subject: [ARSCLIST] Sound card recommendations

Hello All.
I'm looking for stand alone sound card that meets the recommendations from
IASA TC-04 regarding the analogue to digital converter and jitter. Does
anybody have a recommendable product that does not cost a fortune and is
available worldwide?

It's to be used to digitize old reel tapes.

Yours sincerely
Jeppe Christensen
