I think the question of Flash Memory Longevity is a very interesting
one - considering there are no moving parts, and it's not a disc that a
laser got involved with moving dye around, or a write surface that is
exposed. I did a Google search, and found a few comments:

Perhaps it will be the way of the future - there appear to be a number
