 Artis Wodehouse will play a recital of New American Keyboard Music on the 
modern piano and an American foot-pump organ on April 24th, 2006 at 8 p.m. at 
Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center, Goodman House, 129 W. 67th Street, 
New York City. Works featured will be a world premiere of a solo piano piece 
written in 1823 in the Kentucky wilderness, Anthony Heinrich's Toccatina 
Capricciosa; Arthur Bird's Music for the American Harmonium Op. 37 played on an 
original 1918 Mason & Hamlin foot-pump organ; four rare Duke Ellington Concert 
Paraphrases and Transcriptions for solo piano, and Beth Anderson's 1983 Quilt Music
