Hi folks,

I'm brand new on this list So I'd like to make a short introduction.  My
name is Rob Poretti and I'm Product Specialist at Sascom - the North
American agent for Cube-Tec.  We distribute all of their products across
North America, including QUADRIGA, Dobbin, and AudioCube.

My background is professional audio and broadcast audio/video.  I've worked
in numerous capacities in the recording and broadcast industries.  I've also
represented various manufacturers of audio and video related equipment.
I've been involved in digital technologies since before the Mac/PC based DAW
was available and my experience in that area is extensive.  This is the area
that I hope to contribute.

I'm also a VB and SQL Server programmer.  I have significant IT background
specializing in networking, internet, storage systems and database
management systems.  This is another area that I can contribute.

I have extensive background in sound restoration as well, starting with
Sonic Solutions and of course working with the AudioCube over the past 10
years.

Sascom has been a sponsor of the ARSC conference for the past 4 - 5 years
now, but this year was the first year that I attended.  In part, my
experience at that conference is what led me to join this list.  I felt a
real sense of "community" with this group... and I met some very interesting
people that shared similar interests.
