One thing I remember hearing about but never actually encountered was "Three
Minutes of Silence". Were there actually discs with blank grooves made for this
purpose? Aside from blank-groove pressings used as flip sides on promos, the
"Marcel Marceau" LP (which was 18 minutes of silence followed by 2 minutes of
applause on each side) and Jim Tuck's "Nothing Record" (which not only had blank
grooves, it had titles and separate tracks).

Wonder if the "3 Minutes of Silence" was cut in stereo? Wonder what it sounded
like when it began to wear out? Wonder if John Cage sued over the editing of his
"4'33"?
