Interesting station for sure! Also interesting, the stream of this show:

is the same 128K MP3 as WMFU but, to my ears at least, it is much more listenable. Less digi-swish
and more punch. I wonder if it has to do with where the stream is tapped -- pre- or
post-processing???
Enjoying the July 6 episode of "All Soul, No Borders" right now. There is certainly nothing like
this on my FM dial. The one public radio station that plays any jazz plays pretty lame/stereotypical
jazz.

I urge all to visit one the the finest independent radio stations in the country: KDHX in St.
Louis; http://www.kdhx.org. Within the program listing you can now stream or download the last to
2 shows in every category. This gives us an opportunity to hear show like Gabriel's early Sunday
morning or the roots reggae show after midnight Friday. Drive times weekday afternoons are
relegated to rhythm & blues, blues, motown & the music of New Orleans & southern Louisiana.
