Re: [ARSCLIST] LP RECORD STORAGE
Hi Rod:
If you have something like an AC Moore store in those parts, they have pine cubes that are perfect
for that use. The cubes are about 12" by 12" (made either in China or by super-unskilled labor here,
so sometimes they're less than 12" but always more than 10"). They come in either 4 tall by 1 wide,
3 tall by 1 wide, 2 tall by 1 wide or 1 tall by 1 wide. I must have 50 of them scattered around the
studio and basement. The wall o' cubes that holds my LPs and many of my 10" tape boxes has got to
weigh at least half a ton and the cubes are stacked floor to ceiling. Not too rickety and no sign of
being likely to buckle under the weight. I'm sure any crafty-type store out there will have some
varient.
Hope that helps.

PS -- Joe's setup looks like what used to be in radio stations. You could just call him up and ask
him. Last I knew, his number was listed. Try bigyellow.com.

Subject: [ARSCLIST] LP RECORD STORAGE
Does anyone have advice on obtaining record storage for LPs?, maybe similar to those that appear in
the liner notes to DOWN IN THE BASEMENT: JOE BUSSARDS' TREASURE TROVE OF VINGAGE 78'S?. I've seen
these wooden type of units, but i don't know where i could get them. I'm on a limited budget and i
live in the Los Angeles area. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
Rod
