The other feature of a brain is that the memory and the processors are integrated. You don't have a separate CPU and RAM as in current computers.
A colour film is more like the brain than a computer is. Not only does it remember an
image by storing it in halide crystals, but when the film is processed there
are interactions between the layers (carefully designed by the chemists)
which are in effect analog image processing, and are similar to the
interactions in the retina and visual cortex.
