Re: [ARSCLIST] Ediphone Cylinders
Hi Don,
The only examples I've ever encountered were made in the 1940's judging
from the tube lineup. All octals. The numbers escape me as I haven't
seen one of these in a long time.
A couple of years ago at the Bouckville Antique show there was a gent
who had a military version ca ww2 which used 2 cylinder transports and
could record continuosly . The very well built amplifier ( Mil Spec)
could be switched between the 2 recording heads. It played back as well.
I didn't buy it - too expensive.

I have an Ediphone that had an electronic recording head, not
acoustic.
Does anyone know when electronics were introduced into the Ediphone?
Edify me.
