I seem to recall that my Lynx One card also "hijacked" the playback 
capability of the former 'default' audio card.  I played with the mixer 
utility and got it to work.

My settings are for the Lynx ONE card, but might be useful:

1.  All "faders" UP

2.  Click "Monitor" button on 'Analog Out'

3.  Select "Digital Out" on the 'Monitor Source' list
