I know there was a discussion here of Asch,and his assorted record labels,but I never recall seeing a classical set on Musicraft.Asch,yes,but not Musiciraft.What orchestra was this with,and does it have any connection,to Leinsdorf's Sears/ Silvertone records of 1946? BTW,the sole Sears 78 I own,of Leinsdorf,does not credit an orchestra.They may on subsequent issues/pressings.I do,however own a 1957 Lp,which compiles five or six Leinsdorf/Enescu Silvertone 78s.This came out on Hollywood,and lists the orchestra,as "The Rochester Philharmonic". Would this be The Eastman-Rochester,by any chance ? Roger Kulp

And the Shostakovich obviously sold..I've seen it several times on Canadian
pressings! (Which are quieter.)
