Two things:

1) YahooGroups lists are regularly spammed. There is a fairly simple
way to eliminate this, but it requires quite a bit of attention from
the moderator/"listowner." They also have a problem with suddenly
cutting off subscribers whom they claim are "spammers," or ones
who (supposedly) bounce YG messages. Worse yet, one doesn't find
out this has occured until one's posts suddenly are rejected (or
usual e-mail is no longer arriving)!

2) Those of us who also subscribe to 78-L might want to check out
the system created by Ron Fial (our "leader") who has considerable
expertise in that area. We can receive list traffic in different
ways, as well as accessing list archives!
