That is true. I think comparing "old Macs" is like comparing "DOS Based XTs" though compared to Windows XP/Vista and Mac OS X. Although each "point" version like 10.2, 10.3, 10.4 and soon 10.5 of Mac OSX is, as you know, more akin to a new "Windows" than just a service pack :)
