If anyone wants to wax nostalgic (sorry) about EMI, there's a terrific book  
that came out in 1997 called "EMI: The First 100 Years" by Peter Martland,  
published by Batsford. It's full of great photos, labels, catalogs, biographical 
 profiles and behind-the-scenes info from employees and executives. It just 
goes  to highlight the fact that EMI has dumped all this history down the ol' 
commode.
