The only thing I heard for fact is that Sony Studios in Manhattan was shutting down. I believe that the building is indeed being sold but am not clear if Sony owned the whole building. As for Sony Corp, or the Sony/BMG Music Group, I don't think it's for sale.

On a related topic to the proposed EMI sale, I have just heard from a researcher trying to access original Columbia metal parts - with no luck, I might add - that Sony is about to be sold. And that this is creating apathy amongst the current staff. Any truth to this? Mal
