That wouldn't be a bad thing. Denon seems to be a consumer friendly company. Unlike Sony, they don't concoct short lived formats, charge ridiculous license fees, then abandon them. Denon still makes moving coil cartridges, in stereo, true mono for LP and true mono for 78. I don't know that that means anything in the big picture. But it does say to me that they are willing to support minute niche markets. Maybe if they did buy Sony's Columbia catalogs, they'd reissue more stuff and maybe even press 78s to go along with their hand built cartridges. Well, probably not.
