I have a perfectly playable UK-pressed Angel,I have had problems with levels on other Angels pressed in the US,so I know exactly what you mean.

(and does anyone have a trackable English pressing of that disc? Boy, that was 
cut at a high level! Mine skips with several cartridges. The US pressing is cut 
at about half the volume)
