Yes, Howard, but your recent message is bringing us back to discussing compression which is not what this thread is about. It is about full bandwidth 44,100 sample per second, 16 bit digital audio stored in the "Red Book" format and playable on standard CD players.

The JukeDisc uses some form of compression, perhaps MP3, perhaps WindowsMedia or other form. A totally different animal.
