Mike - There is no question that most people who listen to classical music
are perhaps more interested in sound quality than people who listen to rap
music (or much other pop music). Rap music, however, on a number of
listener basis, would have a much greater tendency to be purchased after air
play, since there really isn't much classical air play. The folks who buy
rap music may be more interested in how much the music costs, rather than
whether the music is in WAV format or 128kbps. BTW, I love your web
site(s). Your CD primer is awesome.
