I purchased 3 -78rpm records from Ebay, all of Rudy Vallee and the Stewart
Sisters. The one recording is of the Stewart Sisters singing "On The Good
Ship Lollipop". Does anyone know if this is the first time the song was
recorded on record? I don't believe the Movie was out in the Theater when
this was introduced on Rudy's Radio Hour.
Also, I have a Telefunken Stereo (1961) that I had the amp rebuilt and it
sounds fantastic, however the cartridge (magnetic) in the turntable is shot
...does anyone know where I can get a NOS cartridge or a repro? This would
be the turntable I would listen to these pristine recordings on. Can't
