Someone posted a formula for transposing speed  by changing the bit rate.
I record 162/3  rpm discs at 33.3 into  computer using 88200 bitrate and saving as such.
Then on playback i call up 44100 bit rate and  there it is if was playing at 16rpm. The nice part is only takes 20 min to transfer a 40 minute side.
Works like a charm, Of course i  record it flat, declick it and filter and apply eq as final step.
Hope this gives you an idea... ill try to find the formula or email and post it.
