Clark,

The "flaw on the rationale" that I was referring to, was that the last 3-6
feet of AC wiring would have a bigger impact then the rest of the "building
wiring."  It was there in my original post...

If you're going to SNIP my comments and then criticize my response
("rationale, what rationale"), then we'll have a difficult time exchanging
ideas here...

Another argument by assertion. Anyway, who's the guy who gets to decide if a
device is "properly designed"? In other words, who elected *him*?

"Rationale"? *Which* "rationale"? I could give you twenty. Besides,
"rationale" is a pejorative and argumentative choice of word.

Why can't we just speak plainly and without resort to disparagement?

One possible example that I couldn't disagree with: "I have never heard an
expensive power cord, and I have tried five of them, that did anything for
me or for my system's sound."

See, that's substantive.
