Another argument by assertion. Anyway, who's the guy who gets to decide if a
device is "properly designed"? In other words, who elected *him*?

"Rationale"? *Which* "rationale"? I could give you twenty. Besides,
"rationale" is a pejorative and argumentative choice of word.
Why can't we just speak plainly and without resort to disparagement?
One possible example that I couldn't disagree with: "I have never heard an
expensive power cord, and I have tried five of them, that did anything for
me or for my system's sound."
See, that's substantive.
