The primary problem of the RIAA is quite simple!You got your blame all mixed up. All that the Bono law did was extend it from 2047 to 2067. This did NOTHING to change the RIAA's "primary problem". That goes back to the 1975 law. If anything, the extension could have reduced the haste of the RIAA since it would have 20 more years to persecute and prosecute the American public.
The late Mr. Bono left us with a structure in which ANY sound recording EVER "fixed"in the US Of A was protected until January 1, 2067 (subject to later redefinition...?!).!!
